Polaroid Sunglasses - Ultrasight lenses
POLAROID sunglasses offer excellent optical properties and a clearer image.
Traditional lens manufacturers use vacuum-pressure technology to produce their products. This technology causes various types of deformations on the lens, the presence of which a person wearing such glasses will not even notice. As a result, the eye is forced to compensate for the poor optical properties of the lens and people who regularly use such sunglasses are at risk of eye damage.
Ultrasight lenses, which are manufactured using new thermofusion technology and are found only in Polaroid sunglasses - become thinner at the edges and therefore provide excellent visibility even in these places. | Vacuum-pressure technology creates a uniform layer that distorts the image at the edges. |
Polaroid's thermofusion technology optimally adjusts the lens curvature during the bending phase. The result is new Ultrasight lenses, with improved polarizing performance, with improved visual acuity that gives your eyes a rest. Ultrasight lenses are only used in sunglasses manufactured by Polaroid.

BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGY FOR FULL PROTECTION AND PERFECT VISION .
Ultrasight lenses have been created exclusively for Polaroid sunglasses and consist of 9 functional layers perfectly matched to each other to obtain a high-quality optical product that simultaneously provides full protection and excellent vision.

The main component of the 9-layer lens is the polarizing filter located in the very center of the lens.
Filters providing full UV protection are located in double layers on both sides of the lens. They prevent 100% of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays from entering the eye. Lens-hardening layers are applied to the UV filters on both sides, making the lens material light, flexible and impact-resistant. Finally, the lens is also covered on both sides with an anti-scratch layer.

POLAROID SUNGLASSES WITH 3 ULTRASIGHT LENSES
Ultrasight IX - This 9-layer lens is the latest generation in polarized lens technology. It is used in all models of Polaroid glasses from the Core, Kids and Inkognito series. The hallmark is a silver label.
Ultrasight XI - this 1 mm thick lens is equipped with two additional hardening layers, which make it even more resistant to mechanical damage. This solution is used in the Furore collection, as indicated by the gold label.
Ultrasight XIV - the advantage of these 1 mm thick lenses are another 3 layers that help block reflected rays even more precisely. The next three layers are:
- anti-reflection, which additionally eliminates reflected rays and glare generated in the lens,
- layer preventing lenses from fogging,
- coating that helps keep the lens clean.
These lenses are marked with a platinum label. The platinum label is intended for glasses with the highest quality lenses from the XOOR collection and for several Furore models.
